Really interested in getting latest status update about Kolekole pass and road repair. Used to drive from Ma’ili to Schofield PX in 20+ minutes. Senator Dan I. was much involved to trying to fix the situation before his death. Doesn’t seem to be any closer to a solution.
I have full military privileges – and would be willing to talk to both Army and Navy contacts to proactively address this mutual problem.
Reallly miss the speedy access, not to mention that the road is the Waianae Coast evacuation route. Maybe we could move the $2mil Nanakuli ‘bridge to nowhere’ up on that mountain to replace the current and broken one………just a thought.
