OAHU LANE CLOSURES FOR THE WEEK OF SEPT. 5 – SEPT. 11

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) NANAKULI Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in the northbound direction between Laumania Avenue and Nanakuli Avenue on Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility repairs.
2) NANAKULI Roving lane closures on Farrington Highway in both directions between Helelua Street and Laumania Avenue on Wednesday, Sept. 9, through Thursday, Sept. 10, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. for restriping work.
3) PEARL CITY Two lanes closed on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Waiawa Road and the Kamehameha Highway Overpass on Tuesday night, Sept. 8, through Friday morning, Sept. 11, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project. — H-1 FREEWAY —

1) KAHALA Shoulder closure of the Kilauea Avenue Off-Ramp (Exit 27) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for storm drain cleaning.
2) PEARL CITY Up to two lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Tuesday night, Sept. 8, through Friday morning, Sept. 11, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project. 3) PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for deck widening. 4) PEARL HARBOR Right lane closure of the Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 15A) of the H-1 Freeway to Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for The Rail Project. 5) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (NIGHT WORK) Partial closures of the Keehi Interchange ramps on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Tuesday night, Sept. 8, through Friday morning, Sept. 11, from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for deck sealing. All ramps will remain open. Motorists are advised to pay attention to all traffic control signs, allow for extra travel time and slow down in the work zone area.
6) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Two left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Off-Ramp (Exit 15B) from 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, through 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, for deck sealing. All ramps will remain open. Motorists are advised to pay attention to all traffic control signs and slow down in the work zone area. Airport Viaduct improvements include concrete deck replacements, expansion joint repairs, and pavement restriping. Work is located between the Pearl Harbor Interchange and the Keehi Interchange.
7) WAIPAHU Closure of the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Tuesday night, Sept. 8, through Friday morning, Sept. 11, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project. — H-3 FREEWAY —

1) KANEOHE Lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in both directions between the Mokapu Saddle Road Underpass and the Kamehameha Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 11) on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily, for median maintenance.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) HAWAII KAI Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between West Hind Drive and Lunalilo Home Road on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement striping installations part of the Kalanianaole Highway Resurfacing project.
2) HAWAII KAI Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Kealahou Street and the Hawaii Kai Golf Course on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for utility installations.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) HAUULA Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kawaipuna Street and Punaluu Valley Road on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility repairs.
2) KAAAWA Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Keo Place and Trout Farm Road on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., daily, for emergency shoreline improvements. Traffic will be contraflowed in the remaining open lane. Motorists are advised to expect delays.
3) KAAAWA Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the southbound direction between Kahana Valley Road and Kina Place on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Thursday, Sept. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for pole replacements.
4) KANEOHE Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the southbound direction between Kualoa Regional Park and Johnson Road on Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for pole replacements.
5) KANEOHE Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the southbound direction between Kaaawa Park Lane and Kualoa Regional Park on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility repairs.
6) KANEOHE TO HAUULA Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Pokiwai Place and Waiahole Valley Road on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for utility repairs and tree trimming.
7) LAIE TO KAHUKU Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kuilima Drive and Hale Laa Boulevard on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for utility repairs and tree trimming.
8) MILILANI Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Waihau Street on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail and pavement striping installations. One lane in both directions will be open for motorists at all times. Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 freeway.
9) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Honolulu Rail Transit will be working on Kamehameha Highway this week at various locations. · 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Waiawa Road and Acacia Road. · 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Acacia Road and Waimano Home Road. · 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Lipoa Place and Pali Momi Street. · Lane closures in the westbound direction between Pali Momi Street and Honomanu Street, Monday through Friday. · Lane closures in both directions between Puu Poni Street and Kaonohi Street, Monday through Friday. · Lane closures in the westbound direction between Salt Lake Boulevard and Honomanu Street, Monday through Friday. 10) WAIKANE TO HAUULA Right lane closure in the northbound direction between Waiahole Valley Road and Pokiwai Place on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., daily, for tree trimming.

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

1) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK) Alternating lane closure on Nimitz Highway in both directions between Libby Street and River Street on Tuesday night, Sept. 8, through Friday morning, Sept. 11, from 8:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., nightly, for sewage repairs.
2) HONOLULU Right lane closure on Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction between Awa Street and Smith Street on Wednesday, Sept. 9, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for concrete pours.
3) HONOLULU Right lane closure on Nimitz Highway in the westbound direction between Pacific Street and Alakawa Street on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for excavation and utility installations.

1) NUUANU (WEEKEND WORK) Left lane closure on the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Pali Tunnels and Nuuanu Pali Drive on Saturday, Sept. 5, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. for median maintenance.

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

1) HONOLULU Lane closure on Ala Moana Boulevard in both directions between Queen Street and Atkinson Drive on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for concrete pumping and deliveries.
2) HONOLULU Right lane closed on Ala Moana Boulevard in the eastbound direction between Kahanamoku Street and Kalakaua Avenue on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for sewage maintenance.

— VINEYARD BOULEVARD —

1) HONOLULU Roving single lane closures on Vineyard Boulevard in both directions between Palama Street and the eastbound H-1 Freeway On-Ramp on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road repairs and landscape maintenance.

— LILIHA STREET —

1) HONOLULU Right lane closure on Liliha Street in the northbound direction between North King Street and Vineyard Boulevard on Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for sidewalk reconstruction.

— MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Alternating lane closure on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, Sept. 4, through Saturday morning, Sept. 5, and Tuesday night, Sept. 8, through Saturday morning, Sept. 12, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. There will also be a 24/7 southbound median lane closure and sidewalk closure on the west side of Middle Street. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.
