On July 27, 2015, Sen. Maile Shimabukuro joined representatives from `Ohana Health Plan in delivering school supplies to the students at Wai`anae Elementary School.
The following were collected for approximately 87 incoming 4th grade students:
• 116 Pocket Folders
• 193 Wide Ruled Composition Books
• 96 1 ½” View Binders
• 90 Pencil Pouches
• 97 Headphones (ear buds)
In addition to the supplies above, a “bonus box” containing a number of folders, composition books, dozens of pencils and boxes of crayons was delivered to the 4th grade teachers.
