HDOT West Oahu Lane Closures: Week Ending July 3

Aloha, For your planning purposes, listed below are weekly roadwork updates for HDOT projects that may affect traffic to and from the West Oahu region.  The list includes lane closures over the weekend and the upcoming week.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) PEARL CITY Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the Kaamilo Street Overpass between the Kaonohi Street Overpass and the Aiea/Kaneohe/Honolulu Off-Ramp (Exit 13A) on Monday, Apr. 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for the rail project. 2) PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU Right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for deck widening.  3) SALT LAKE Lane closure of the Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 15A) to Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for The Rail Project. 4) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Two lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction from the Radford Drive Overpass to the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) on Tuesday night, June 30, through Friday morning, July 3, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., for deck sealing.  All ramps will remain open.

5) SALT LAKE TO PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Three right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Radford Drive Overpass and the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) on Sunday night, June 28, through Thursday morning, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, for pavement marking installations.

6) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Sunday night, June 28, through Thursday morning, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for striping work. 7) WAIPAHU Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Waikele/Waipahu On-Ramp (Exit 7) and the Kunia/Waipahu/Ewa Off-Ramp (Exit 5) on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installations.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) NANAKULI TO KAENA POINT Alternating lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Nanakuli Avenue and Kaena Point on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for overhead sign replacements.

2) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Two lanes closed on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and Waiawa Road on Sunday night, June 28, through Thursday morning, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project. 3) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Full closure of the Farrington Highway eastbound on-ramp to the H-2 Freeway in the northbound direction for the rail project. · Full closure on Saturday night, June 27, through Sunday morning, June 28, from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. · Full closure on Sunday night, June 28, through Thursday morning, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly. 4) PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Single lane closure on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Waiawa Road and Kahualii Street, for the rail project. · Lanes closed on Saturday night, June 27, through Sunday morning, June 28, from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. · Lanes closed on Sunday night, June 28, through Thursday morning, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly. 5) WAIANAE Lane closure on Farrington Highway in the northbound direction between Ala Poko Street and Bayview Street on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for manhole repairs.

6) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Old Fort Weaver Road and Leoku Street on Sunday, June 28, through Thursday, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. for the rail project.
