HDOT West Oahu Lane Closures: March 21 – March 27

 — H-1 FREEWAY —

1) PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK) Multiple lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the Aiea Pedestrian Overpass between the Kaamilo Street Overpass and the Aiea/Kaneohe/Honolulu Off-Ramp (Exit 13A) on Monday, Mar. 23, through Friday morning, Mar. 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. the next day, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • Two right lanes will be closed from 10 a.m.to 6 p.m.
  • Three right lanes will be closed from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Four right lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Construction will replace approximately 10,000 square feet of concrete pavement in the eastbound direction of the H-1 Freeway in Aiea over a two-week period.

2) WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Multiple lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from 8 p.m., Saturday night, Mar. 21, through 6 p.m., Sunday, Mar. 22, for deck widening and concrete pours.

  • Three right lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 21, through 10 a.m., Sunday morning, Mar. 22.
  • Two right lanes will be closed on Sunday, Mar. 22, from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m.
  • One right lane will be closed on Sunday, Mar. 22, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

3) WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU (NIGHT WORK) Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) and the Waipahu Street Overpass on Thursday night, Mar. 26, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for pavement striping work. 4) WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for road widening. 5) SALT LAKE Lane closure of the Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for The Rail Project. 6) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions at the H-1/H-2 Merge between the Waipahu Street Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday night, Mar. 22, through Friday morning, Mar. 27, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project. 7) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Off-Ramp (Exit 15B) from 9 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 20, through 12:01 a.m. on Monday morning, Mar. 23. All ramps will remain open. Speed limits will be reduced to 15 mph in order to minimize traffic induced vibrations that may lead to cracking in the newly repaired deck. Airport Viaduct improvements include concrete deck replacements, expansion joint repairs, and pavement restriping. Work is located between the Pearl Harbor Interchange and the Keehi Interchange.

8) SALT LAKE Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 15A) in the westbound direction on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for the rail project. 9) PEARL CITY TO HNL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Pearlridge/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) on Sunday, Mar. 22, to Wednesday morning, Mar. 25, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, for pavement striping installations.

10) WAIPAHU Shoulder lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Kunia/Waipahu/Ewa Off-Ramp (Exit 5) and the H-1/H-2 Merge on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for chain link fence installations.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) MAKAHA (WEEKEND WORK) Lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Satellite Tracking Station Road and Makua Valley Road on Saturday, Mar. 21, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for roadside maintenance.

2) MAKAHA Lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Orange Street and Maiuu Road on Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pole replacements.

3) NANAKULI Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Laumania Avenue and Haleakala Avenue on Wednesday, Mar. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installations.

4) WAIANAE Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Kaupuni Street and Lualualei Homestead Road on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pole replacements and waterline work.
