SB3012 re Medical Records; Social Security Act; Aid to the Aged, Blind, and Disabled Program : Hearing Scheduled 2/10/14 @ 10:00am

SB3012 has been scheduled for a hearing by the Senate HMS/JDL committees on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 10:00am in Conference Room 016 at the Hawaii State Capitol.

SB3012 mandates that medical providers provide medical records to a patient, patient’s attorney, or authorized representative free of charge if the request is for the purposes of a claim or appeal under any provision of the Social Security Act or for state assistance under the aid to the aged, blind, and disabled program.
