Waianae Coast Combats Crime: 3/1/14 Clean-up

WAIANAE, HI (1/27/14)–Newly formed Waianae Coast Crime Prevention Coalition (WCCPC), a Hawaii-based non-profit organization established to thwart and prevent criminal activity along O’ahu’s Waianae Coast, welcomes members and leaders of the community at-large and local businesses to partner on effecting positive community building events.

“Together, as a community, we can embrace opportunities that will benefit the present and, in effect, shape a brighter future for our keiki”, said Rocky Naeole, WCCPC President.

By partnering with stakeholders along the Waianae Coast, to include HPD’s Community Policing division and Waianae and Nanakuli Boys and Girls Clubs, WCCPC is intent on spearheading community-first projects that welcome public participation.


–  Beach clean-up – Saturday, March 1st at Lahilahi (Makaha), Pokai` Bay, and Nanakuli Beach Park from 9 am to 11 am, lunch to follow.

–  Boys & Girls Club Poster Contest

–  Kupuna Safety Fair in June
