The two videos below will give you an idea of what the E Ala Voyaging Canoe means to the people on the Wai’anae Coast. Culturally and educationally, it’s an invaluable heritage and symbol of Hawaiian pride. As Captain Sam “Kamu” Kapoi says, it has the power to inspire the young to want to stay in school and learn.

Please participate in the inaugural E Ala Voyaging Canoe golf tournament and dinner banquet on November 15, 2013, at Makaha Valley Country Club. This event will benefit the E Ala Voyaging Canoe Educational Fund. It starts at noon, followed by a Hawaiian dinner banquet at 5pm. If you can’t make it to the tournament, attend the banquet. Tickets are $40 per person.

The deadline to register for the Golf Tournament and Dinner Banquet is 11/1/13.

Organizers are also seeking sponsors, prizes, and other support.
