KS Strategic Planning Forum 2015 Oahu Invite

Aloha Everyone,

I wanted to share with you the KS 15 year Strategic Planning meeting info and dates. Please try to make one of these meetings and share your mana’o, expectations, wishes, and experiences with KS as well as other attendees. This is a great opportunity for us to network and weigh in on what we would like to see KS focus on in the coming 15 years. This is also ideal for many of our communities who are initiating positive, long-lasting, generational change to speak up in good expectation for KS to work in honest collaboration with our existing and future efforts.

Prepare ahead as they ask so that you can have meaningful conversations in line with their process but definitely bring your mana’o.

There is also an additional meeting date on March 4th in Kapolei at the DHHL Hale Pono’i building from 5-8:30p that is not listed below, so keep that in mind. Unfortunately, the Waianae meeting already took place this past Wednesday, but there are a few more left that you can attend.

Everyone, please forward this to your networks, families and friends as well in good judgment.

Mahalo nui,

Update that the Nanakuli meeting on 2/28/13 has been moved to the KS Community Learning Center in Nanakuli instead of NHIS Multipurpose room.

Planning a vibrant future for Our People
In the year 2015, Kamehameha Schools will celebrate the educational, cultural and financial progress made as a result of our 2000–2015 Strategic Plan. We will also celebrate the implementation of a new strategic plan for 2015–2030. The new plan will help ensure that Ke Ali‘i Pauahi’s legacy serves the lāhui Hawai‘i now and for generations to come. We invite you to join us on our journey to shape the future strategic plan.Over the past year, through a campaign called Progress & Promise, hundreds have provided input on our recent achievements and the direction of our current strategic plan. Feedback from that effort has built a firm foundation for the planning phase of our 2015–2030 plan, slated to begin in January 2013.Please join us at a meeting in your area to help us envision the future of our people and provide valuable input that will guide the direction of Kamehameha Schools’ Strategic Plan 2015–2030.

For an informed discussion, please take time to view the following two items:

1. Progress & Promise: 10 year review of KS strategic goals and achievements since 2000 at www.ksbe.edu/progressandpromise
