SB 516 RELATING TO PATERNITIES FOR ADULTS SCHEDULED FOR 2/7/13

Please submit testimony in support of SB 516:

Which Removes time bar on actions to declare existence or nonexistence of father and child relationship for certain proceedings. This is to repeal the 3 year statute of limits for children to file paternity actions after attaining age 18.

Rationale is to allow adult petitioners to establish paternity for inheritance and genealogy purposes (eg, to qualify the Hawaiian entitlements).
