HB 1158 & SB 518 RELATING TO ELIGIBILITY FOR PUBLIC HOUSING SCHEDULED FOR 2/4/13 & 2/5/13

Please submit testimony in support of HB 1158 and SB 518, which prohibits the Hawaii public housing authority from considering a prospective tenant’s conviction for a minor crime that occurred five years or more before the application date. Provides exceptions for crimes involving drugs, violence, sexual offenses, and alcohol.
