Aloha All,

The Awesome Foundation Oahu was invited this year to the Bridge of Friendship. We were so honored to be invited and enjoyed the day immensely. Since our foundation just got started this year, I thought I might spread the word about our foundation to the attendees from the luncheon. If you are getting this e-mail, I got your e-mail address from the book that was handed out that day.

Every month, we give a $1,000 grant with no-strings-attached to a worthy and awesome project on the island of Oahu. Projects may touch upon any field – food, music, art, publishing, the environment, education (you name it!) and exist in any phase of development. Take a look at some of our recent winners:

You don’t have to be an established charity … just someone with a great idea (and passion)
You don’t have to be an expert grant writer … just tell us about your plans
Your project doesn’t have to cure cancer … just have an immediate, positive impact on your community
Your project doesn’t need to be complete … as long as $1000 will help you get to the next stage
Your project doesn’t have to be grandiose … just spark an instant of joy and delight
You don’t owe us anything … except to take action and do something awesome

We believe that everyone has the capacity to affect positive change in his or her community, and we want to help them (you!) create that change. Whether your project is still an idea or needs an extra injection of cash to be completed—whatever stage of the game, we encourage you to apply. The application is really simple!

Awesome Foundation Oahu is entirely funded and managed by trustees who live on Oahu, Hawaii. We are not asking for money. We are giving money away! Awesome Foundation Oahu is a chapter of The Awesome Foundation.
