The team – composed of players ages 11-12 – won the Hawaii State Championship last month and captured a berth in the Little League West Regional Tournament, which is currently on from Aug. 4-15 in San Bernardino, California, at the Al Houghton Stadium, 6707 Little League Drive.
The regional champion will play in the Little League World Series, which takes place Aug. 20-29 in Williamsport, Pa.
THE TEAM IS SEEKING HELP WITH THEIR TRAVEL EXPENSES. DONATIONS CAN BE SENT OR BROUGHT IN TO ANY BANK OF HAWAII BRANCH. MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO “NANAKULI LITTLE LEAGUE TRAVEL FUND”.
