Help State Champion Nanakuli All Stars get to the Little League West Region Tournament in California

Congratulations to the Nanakuli All Stars – Little League State Champions!

The team – composed of players ages 11-12 – won the championship this past Tuesday and captured a berth in the Little League West Regional Tournament, which takes place Aug. 4-15 in San Bernardino, California, at the Al Houghton Stadium, 6707 Little League Drive.

The regional champion will play in the Little League World Series, which takes place Aug. 20-29 in Williamsport, Pa.

THE TEAM IS SEEKING HELP WITH THEIR  TRAVEL EXPENSES. DONATIONS CAN BE SENT OR BROUGHT IN TO ANY BANK OF HAWAII BRANCH. MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO “NANAKULI LITTLE LEAGUE TRAVEL FUND”.

* NOTE: The trucks were being operated by a subcontractor working for Kiewit — Pineridge Trucking. Our office had also contacted Kiewit separately to alert them of the noise issue and Kiewit responded quickly to the concern.
