OHA Entrepreneurship Class – Registration Deadline March 1

As the Office of Hawaiian Affairs seeks to open doors for aspiring entrepreneurs, the deadline to tap into the opportunity is rapidly approaching.

March 1 is the last day for Native Hawaiians to register for the entrepreneurship class at Kapiolani Community College that OHA will reimburse them to take and complete.

The 51-hour class is intended to assist Native Hawaiians in developing great ideas into full-fledged businesses, or creating businesses from the ideas that they hatch.

Only about 20 seats remain for the classes that will be held for three hours every Tuesday and Thursday, starting at 5:30 p.m. The classes are for the eight weeks between March 6 and May 3.

Native Hawaiians who complete the class are reimbursed the course’s fee, which ranges from $211 to $231.

For more information, call 734-9211.
