Please note the following:

Possible lane closure for Thursday, 9/1/11, 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Farrington Hwy (Waianae)-Old Government Rd (vicinity of Plantation Rd) intersection:
Honolulu/southeast-bound right lane closure on Farrington Hwy, through intersection, for electrical service work by HECO. Power to the existing traffic signal system will be interrupted temporarily. During this time traffic control assistance will be provided by special duty HPD officers.

Possible lane closures for Monday, 8/29/11, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Farrington Hwy (Waianae)-Lualualei Homestead Rd intersection:
Honolulu/southeast-bound right lane closure on Farrington Hwy, through intersection, for electrical service equipment improvements; Makua/northwest-bound right lane closure on Farrington Hwy, through intersection, for pavement restoration for new underground ducts.

Possible lane closures for Tuesday, 8/30/11, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Farrington Hwy (Waianae)-Lualualei Homestead Rd intersection:
Intermittent single lane closures on Farrington Hwy, both directions through intersection, for pavement restoration for new underground ducts.

Possible lane closures for Wednesday through Thursday, 8/31/11 – 9/1/11,
8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Farrington Hwy (Waianae)-Lualualei Homestead Rd intersection:
Honolulu/southeast-bound right lane closures on Farrington Hwy, through intersection, for roadway trenching for new underground ducts.

Possible lane closure for Friday, 9/2/11, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Farrington Hwy (Waianae)-Lualualei Homestead Rd intersection:
Makua/northwest-bound right lane closure on Farrington Hwy, through intersection, for excavation for new traffic signal controller base.

DOH Nanakuli Dust Assessment

The Department of Health (DOH) will be proceeding with their dust assessment in the area between Hakimo Road, Farrington Hwy, and Lualualei Naval Road.

The independent consultant from Tetra Tech will be discussing his study plan on Aug 29 at Ka Waihona school from 6-8pm.
