Colleen (Young) Teramae, Legislative Office Manager

Colleen has a BA degree in Human Resources Management and a BBA in Management Information Systems. Prior to working at the Hawaii State Capitol, she had nine years of private sector experience in human resources (primarily in the areas of recruitment, training and employee development) and three years experience in office management. She has been my Legislative Office Manager since my election to the Legislature in 2003. Email address: young@capitol.hawaii.gov

Wally Inglis, LegislativeAdvisor/Researcher

Wally retired from full-time government service after working eight years in the office of Governor Cayetano. He also serves as an officer of nonprofit corporations dedicated to providing affordable housing for low income O`ahu residents. He has been a member of my staff since my election to the Legislature in 2003, and his work responsibilities focus on research in such areas as legislation (bills /resolutions) and capital improvement project (CIP) funding. Geanine (Gomes) McIntosh, Legislative Assistant/District Relations

Geanine has a Masters in Education (M.Ed.) and worked for the Department of Education for 16 years. She has also worked as a community counselor for a nonprofit organization. She is a long time Nänäkuli Hawaiian homestead resident and is currently attending the UH William S. Richardson School of Law. Geanine handles district, community and constituent concerns. Sandra Morimoto-Ching, Community Liaison

Sandie holds a BA degree in Human Services with a concentration in nonprofit organization management and hopes to earn a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She previously worked on our staff in the State House as a Committee Clerk and Community Liaison, and served as a volunteer from 2004-2011. Sandie has worked at Wai`anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, INPEACE-Ka Lama Education Academy, and currently serves as Registrar at the Wai`anae Health Academy.

Kapua Keli`ikoa-Kama`i, Senate Volunteer

Kapua is a proud graduate of Wai`anae High and is a passionate advocate for culture-based education, natural resource preservation, and Hawaiian rights. She is a devoted wife and mother to two daughters who attend Hawaiian language immersion schools, and lives in the Wai`anae Valley Hawaiian Homestead.
